Greetings,

Hello,
I am Jasook Koo, Editor-in-Chief of ‘Korea Business Review (KBR)’.

KBR started under the name of “Journal for management education research” and thanks to the efforts of all members, it has become a prestigious academic journal for practical research, laying the foundation for further development. Building on our past achievements, we aim to strengthen and advance KBR's identity as a practice-based academic journal for management education.

The importance of case studies in management education cannot be emphasized enough. Case studies provide researchers with innovative research ideas and are a valuable tool for education in practice. Through case studies, students can view management phenomena from a holistic and balanced perspective, and understand cases within the theoretical frameworks they have learned. To enhance the function of case studies, we will continue to explore various forms of case studies in each field of management.

Recently, KBR has attempted to conduct industry research, which provides an environment for constructing management theories. We will continue to follow this trend and activate industry research for the next two years. We will make efforts to explore various topics and cases such as innovation in new industries, innovation in corporate ecosystems, and innovation in corporate education.

To further solidify and advance KBR, we need the participation and interest of our members. We will listen to the voices of our members and strive to grow together as KBR.

Sincerely,

Jasook Koo,
Editor-in-Chief of KBR,
Department of Management, Kyung Hee University
